Propagation.
Seed is protected by a thick seed coat which must be broken prior to germination. This can be done by manually nicking the coat or by soaking the seed in near-boiling water. The best results are usually obtained by nicking. Also from cuttings.
Flowering.
Chiefly September and October. Out-of-season flowering is known, but is less common than for Dillwynia sericea.
Locations.
A major local understorey species. Locations include Willans Hill, Livingstone NP and SCA, The Rock NR and TSR, Murraguldrie Flora Reserve, Mates Gully Rd TSR., and several roadsides in the east of the region.
